Thirty Before 30: Gypsyville and a road trip

Wednesday my family embarked on a three day road trip around our great State of Texas. We started off at the Dr Pepper museum in Waco. Of course, you can't go to Waco and NOT stop at CollĂ®n Street Bakery! They have the BEST cherry ice box cookies, ever! After Waco we ended up in College station for the night. Today we walked around Fredericksburg. I'll admit, least favorite part of the trip. To me, if you've shopped Granbury, you've shopped Fredericksburg and aren't missing anything. That's just my oppinion though. There were several other stops, and of course the obligatory stop at Buc-ee's.  My favorite part of the whole shebang, however, was yesterday. Yesterday was my choice, and I managed to talk everyone in to going to Round Top and visiting Gypsyville World Headquarters. LOVED it! It was so cool seeing one of the places from my favorite reality show in person. I loved all of the displays, and trust me, if I could have I'd've bought one of EVERY shirt and hat there. I did buy 2 shirts and a sticker though. The paint display definitely caught my eye, and the whole time I'm walking around the store I'm thinking, what kind of trouble could I get into with this. Trust me, if you know me and paint.. Well..you're probably thinking "PUT DOWN THE PAINT CAN NOW AND GET IT AWAY FROM THE DISPLAYS, THEIR CLOTHES AND YOUR NEW CLOTHES!!" Who? Me? Spill paint? I would never!(ha!) I didn't buy any this time, but I have a dresser I want to re paint so give it time. I'll get some.  The girls weren't in the store if they were there, and that's ok. After just having surgery on my ear Tuesday and sporting a rather..hmm.."awesome" headband, as AMAZING as it would have been to meet them(Archie too), I didn't feel like pictures anyway. And everyone knows You can't meet The Gypsies and NOT get a picture. It's like a law or something. I did get some of Large Marge, of course!! And I'm pretty sure I saw Gypsy Daddy driving his gator Over by the shop as we were leaving.  I definitely plan on going back sometime soon, and hopefully meeting everyone. Over all, even though I'm sure I was a grump most of the time..I blame the packing in my ear!lol it was a good little get away! And, Gypsyville World HQ.. I'll be back!!
